EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH EXPERIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH:

National Mental Health Care Management Company headquartered in Houston, TX (Westchase District) is seeking experienced individuals in the behavioral health field for positions in our Clinical Services department.  Applicants must possess a degree in behavioral health science (Psychology, Social Work, etc.).  A State license (LPC, LVN, RN, or other in good standing) is required for advanced positions.  Past work experience in mental health is weighted heavily.  Value is enhanced with experience in mental health utilization review (including knowledge of DSM IV and ICD 9 coding) and knowledge of governmental regulations regarding utilization review.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.  In addition, applicants must display strong typing and organizational skills while performing multiple tasks with attention to detail.  

Responsibilities include intake and referral for all levels of care (EAP, outpatient and inpatient), utilization review  (UR) for outpatient and inpatient services, issuing notifications (verbal and written) of authorizations or non-authorizations, and screening/coordination for our new Pharmacy Intervention Protocol™ (patent pending). 

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, with flex hours assigned between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Competitive salary and benefits including health insurance, 401-K, paid vacation and holidays, paid time bank, and long-term stock incentives.

Sales:

Openings in Houston, Dallas and New Orleans for experienced and motivated sales personnel for expansion of our services. Ability to expand our business with existing contacts along with establishing new ones a must.

Successful candidate will have industry sales experience either in the behavioral health or the self-funded health care field with knowledge of brokers, consultants, and Third Party Administrators (TPAs). A successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the healthcare field. In addition to the above described benefit package, this position has a salary base plus commission, including travel expenses. Some travel is required in this position.
